How I Photograph Cake Smashes
Simplicity is timeless, and that’s the goal for cake smash sessions. In my studio the focus is on capturing your little one at the natural best- not on an over-abundace of props, balloons and designer cake. All of that distracts from what you really want to remember; the little person your baby is becoming.
The Cake’s Included
To make things easier for you, a minimalist cake in your choice of natural vanilla, apple or banana flavor is included at no extra charge.
Your Portrait Experience

BOOKING
It all starts with choosing your package and setting a date, with a 50% booking fee securing your spot in my schedule.

SESSION DAY
It’s session day! You’re super excited and probably a bit nervous, but before you know it, your session is wrapped and you had a great time.

SELECTION
Within 48-72 hours of your session, your private online gallery will be ready for you to choose your photos for editing.
04
DELIVERY
Within 10-14 days of submitting your selection, you can expect your gorgeous photos to be in your gallery, ready to download.

When should I book for?
You can book your baby’s session for as close to their birthday as you want, scheduling the time for when your baby is their most relaxed and happy.
I want more photos in my package, can I add more?
Of course you can! After your session you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can purchase extra photos for R55 per edited photo.
I have an unconventional idea, can you help me?
‘Unconventional’ is my middle name; well it’s actually Ann, but you get the point. I thrive on different and thinking outside the box, so I can assure you that I’m always super excited to try something new.
I want to book, but feel I'm unphotogenic.
Stop right there! Everyone is photogenic, it’s just some people don’t know it yet. As a strong believer in self love and celebrating all bodies and gender-identities, I would love to show you the beautiful person I see- you! It’s my job to guide you to look and feel good during your session and that’s exactly what I’ll do.
