FAQ
How much experience do you have capturing weddings?
Over the past 8+ years I’ve captured over 70 weddings as the primary photographer, both here in Middelburg and all across the country. That’s in addition to over 15+ years experience in photography, earning diplomas and certificates in photography and various specialised fields, and winning national photographic awards.
Do you travel for weddings?
There’s a fine balance between work and personal life, for that reason I focus on capturing weddings only within the immediate Middelburg area. This includes: Rustique Boutique Hotel, Gail’s Venues, Corn & Cob and Alveston Manor.
How would you describe your wedding photography style?
Trends come and go, and having the latest ‘in’ look for your wedding photos can leave them looking dated a few years down the line. I strive for a classic, timeless look by blending documentary style photography for all the main events, and lightly posed looks for your portraits. That means I use mostly natural light so you can remember your special day as it was.
How many photos do I get?
Each package includes a minimum guaranteed number of photos, however I edit as many as possible to tell the story of your day. The more activity and details there are to capture, and depending on your timeline for the day, the more photos you’re likely to get.
Do your packages include video?
As I’m a one-woman-show, it’s simply not possible to offer both photography and videography. For that reason my packages are only for photography.
What is included in the complimentary engagement session?
Included in my Sonnet and Poetry packages, your complimentary engagement session includes a 20-30 minute studio session and 10 fully edited photos, all worth R1749.
I’m worried about posing on the day, can you help?
I’m a strong believer that everyone is photogenic and it’s my job to ensure that. I can assure you won’t be left hanging as I offer detailed posing guidance on the day to ensure you look and feel your best.
