What types of sessions do you offer?
As I specialise it means I offer the following types of portraits: individual, children’s, couples, maternity, small family, corporate headshots, dance, fitness, fine art, boudoir. Specialising also means there are genres I don’t offer; specifically newborn, cake smash, baby & toddler.
What’s the difference between painterly & storyteller packages?
It’s super simple, if you want formal poses with full, in-depth editing, and photos that look like classical paintings, then you’d fit the Painterly Package. If you prefer posing guidance that prompts emotions and special moments, and editing with a nostalgic film look, then you’ll love a Storyteller Package.
What’s the difference between standard and full hand editing?
My Storyteller Packages are all about capturing authentic moments, and that means using less intensive editing. Standard editing includes blemish removal, skin tone balancing and general editing to contrast and colour for creative effect. Painterly Packages are about creating a distinct narrative and include in-depth editing; that includes full skin retouching, dodge & burn, multiple minute changes to ensure the perfect image and detailed changes to contrast, colour and tone.
I want more photos in my package, can I add more?
Of course you can! After your session you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can purchase extra photos as well as premium quality prints like canvases and albums.
I have an unconventional idea, can you help me?
‘Unconventional’ is my middle name; well it’s actually Ann, but you get the point. I thrive on different and thinking outside the box, so I can assure you that I’m always super excited to try something new.
I want to book, but feel I’m unphotogenic.
Stop right there! Everyone is photogenic, it’s just some people don’t know it yet. As a strong believer in self love and celebrating all bodies and gender-identities, I would love to show you the beautiful person I see- you! It’s my job to guide you to look and feel good during your session and that’s exactly what I’ll do.
Why don’t you offer outdoor sessions in the rainy season?
Summer is a beautiful season for sure, but it is also my region’s rainy season. Add unpredictable weather patterns, sudden storms and the like and you’ll see that there’s always a large chance your session will be rained out. It’s for that reason that I only offer outdoor sessions in the drier months to ensure you are guaranteed a great experience for the day you booked.
