All my life I’ve had a love for art and recently realised just how little art I make purely for myself. As much as I love creating photos for my clients that have special meaning to them, as a creative individual sometimes I have to take some time to create something that is special to no-one else but me.

Now if you take a quick google of the term ‘fine art photography’ you’ll be faced with a variety of definitions; some contradicting, some condescending, but most with a common thread that fine art is a visual creation made purely for aesthetic and intellectual purposes, viewed for it’s beauty and meaningfulness.

It is with that in mind that I recently spent sometime in studio exploring movement and how to capture it in a single still image in camera.
